Have you been collecting paper, saving inspiration, or telling yourself you'll get back to making art when life slows down? Consider this your invitation to finally get started.
Paper Passions is a four-week online “open studio” class designed to help you carve out time for creativity, get your hands back into the paper pile, and make something before the year comes to a close. A lot of my students struggle to make time on their own, so this will be a way of ensuring you make time for your art!
Each session gives you a chance to work on your art, share ideas, ask questions, and get feedback in a welcoming, supportive environment. Whether you're completely new to collage or haven't made art in months, you'll have the time and encouragement to get going.
Think of it as a standing date with your creativity. No waiting for inspiration to strike, no needing to figure everything out before you begin. Just you, a pile of paper, and four weeks to see what happens.
COURSE DATES
TUESDAYS: NOVEMBER 3, 10, 17, & 24
✨ 4 live online sessions, 2 hours each, with a group of other paper lovers to make time for your art, stay accountable, and keep your creative momentum going.
✂️ A welcoming space to experiment. During this time you are welcome to work on whatever you’d like!
💬 Encouragement and feedback. Share your work, ask questions, and get support from me and your fellow participants along the way.
🌐 A creative community. Connect with your cohort in a private Discord channel to share progress, celebrate little wins, and keep each other inspired between sessions.
ADD ON: If you would like to work with vintage papers, you can add on a collage kit to be delivered to you to work with in this class.
This class is for you if you've been meaning to make more art but struggle to find the time, need a little accountability to follow through, looking to chit chat with other creatives, or simply want a creative project to look forward to before the year ends.
You don't need to be an experienced artist, have a big idea, or know what you're going to make before you start. Bring your curiosity, your willingness to experiment, and a few hours to dedicate to yourself.
By the end of our four weeks, you'll have made space for your creativity, explored new ideas, and hopefully have some finished (or wonderfully in-progress!) collage work to show for it. Hopefully, you will build the habit of creating in a certain window!

You'll need a computer or mobile device that can run the video conferencing software.
