FAQs

What type of art do you make?

1

I create surreal, vintage-inspired collage art using found imagery from magazines, books, and ephemera. My work often blends humor, nostalgia, and social commentary, and is rooted in the tradition of photomontage.

What is collage / photomontage art?

2

Collage is the process of assembling different materials into a single artwork. Photomontage is a form of collage made primarily from photographic imagery—this is the technique I use most often in my work.

Is your artwork handmade or digital?

3

My practice includes both. All my pieces start handmade. It is only when I feel that digital intervention is necessary do I scan the papers in to make the digital final version. This could be because I find an image that is too big but goes perfectly into the artwork. Because I have art prints and show my work online, all my artworks are scanned and digitally created after the handmade version is complete.

How can I contact you?

Do you do commissions or custom artworks?

Yes, when requested. This can range to making a piece around a certain theme for an individual or making a commercial advertisement for a company.
